I’m Nicole Peck, the founder of Peck Bookkeeping and the person behind your numbers.
After more than 15 years in corporate banking — including roles at Barclays Capital and BNY Mellon — I realized what I loved most wasn't the institutional side. It was helping people understand their numbers and make confident decisions with them.
Today, I work with women building businesses they're proud of — for their community, their family, and themselves. They're ready to hand off the financial side to a partner who understands the business and the woman running it.
Many of my clients come to me at inflection points — when their bookkeeping has outgrown DIY, their QuickBooks file needs a rebuild, or their financial reports aren't giving them what they need to make bigger decisions.
My work is about more than recording transactions. I build financial systems that turn scattered records into organized books and reports women can actually lead their businesses with. My goal is simple: to give you the confidence that comes from finally seeing your numbers clearly.
Outside of work, you'll find me on the yoga mat, at taekwondo with my boys, in the garden, at the beach, or somewhere outside soaking up the day.

How it all began
Peck Bookkeeping started because of two women I couldn't stop thinking about.
They were friends of mine — smart, driven, running real businesses they believed in. And every time we talked, the same thing came up: the financial side of their work was pulling them away from the very things they'd built their businesses to protect. Their families. Their time. The moments they couldn't get back.
I had spent 15 years in corporate banking building exactly the kind of systems that would give them their time back. And it hit me: the skill they were missing was the one I'd been quietly building the whole time.
That's when Peck Bookkeeping began.
Today, I work with women running growing businesses who understand something important: they didn't start these businesses just to make money. They started them because they had something valuable to offer — something their community needed, something their family could be proud of, something worth building. At the heart of their work is a bigger why.
My job is to make sure the financial side of the business supports that why — not competes with it. That means real systems, clear numbers, and a partner who's genuinely invested in your business and the life you're building around it.
Because clean books aren't the finish line. They're the foundation — for the business, the family, and everything the two are meant to make possible together.
